With the Urban Movement Research Project I search for public spaces with which I can interact artistically. There are no events with announcements or invitations; these short dance performances take place with or without an "audience". In this sense, they are not performances, but rather laboratories, research projects, investigations. Due to the different circumstances of the places, the people and other art present there, none of the research events are the same - even if I use the same dance material.

In the course of the Dis-Tanzen Solo scholarship, I explored these questions: How can dance interact with permanent art in urban space? How does dance reach places that have little to do with this art form? I explore how contemporary dance can work far from designated art spaces and draw inspiration from everyday art encounters.
